Brooke Williams
Founder and Director
Brooke is the Founder and Director of Fourfold Studio. A natural leader and advocate for change in the built environment, her demonstrated passion and experience have positioned her as a highly sought after industry thought leader.
Brooke began in the industry as an urban designer, but after 15 years grew frustrated seeing projects fail when investment into place hardware overlooks the communities that bring them to life. This realisation led Brooke’s shift to specialise within the urban design industry, joining CoDesign Studio and ultimately establishing Fourfold Studio as a leader of the placemaking movement in Queensland. Today, Brooke is a leader and place strategist who brings enormous experience to major, city-shaping projects across Queensland and beyond.
Her expertise has seen her co-found the not-for-profit U.R{BNE} Collective, deliver internationally acclaimed activations, and champion the placemaking movement across Queensland. Brooke is also an experienced speaker and facilitator, presenting at high-profile industry events such as the PIA Congress, Place Leaders Australia Summit and the Australian Placemaking Summit.

Harriet McKindlay
Associate Director
Harriet brings an energetic and visionary approach to placemaking at Fourfold Studio. An emerging leader in the placemaking industry, she is driven by a genuine passion for locally-led problem solving, anchoring her work in authentic and meaningful community engagement.
Beginning her career in Victoria, Harriet brings experience from over 80 community engagement projects across Australia, partnering with state and local governments, developers, and community groups. As a foundational member of the Fourfold Studio team since inception, she has been instrumental in shaping the studio’s approach.
Expertise in planning and design underpins her ability to draw meaningful insights from community aspirations to support citymaking decisions. She is well known for facilitating high-energy workshops that encourage dynamic collaboration between participants to ensure everyone leaves feeling heard, involved and empowered to be a part of the change.

Louise Lindgren
Associate Director
Louise is the creative lead at Fourfold Studio and an experienced placemaking professional with a distinct focus on strategy, place identity, and experience design.
Louise brings over 15 years of project management expertise to the team, managing place strategies both nationally and internationally. She is highly experienced in leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams of consultants, ensuring diverse technical disciplines collaborate effectively to deliver cohesive project outcomes.
One of Louise’s key strengths is her natural ability to visually articulate complex systems, translating dense planning concepts and data insights into clear graphics that encourage communities to engage in shaping their place. Always looking for meaningful ways to connect, Louise specialises in storytelling and experience design that is highly people-focused. Underpinned by her collaborative approach, Louise leads her project teams to elevate locally-led outcomes, where communities feel connected to each other and their place.

David Symington
Placemaking Consultant
David is an innovative planner whose approach to placemaking is deeply rooted in his upbringing in regional Queensland.
Experiencing firsthand how physical spaces shape social interaction and strengthen community connection, he developed a strong drive to understand people’s relationship to place. This passion led him to complete a Bachelor of Urban Development (Honours) in Urban and Regional Planning at the Queensland University of Technology, where his honours research focused on regional economic development and resilience.
At his core, David is committed to building genuine stakeholder relationships, ensuring that all community voices are actively heard and carefully considered. His firsthand understanding of urban and regional dynamics makes him an effective advocate for helping communities thrive through a strong, shared identity. He brings a positive energy to every project, always looking for meaningful ways to connect data with on-the-ground reality.

George van Pelt
Placemaking Consultant
Driven by a passion for creating sustainable social outcomes and efficient urban environments, George couples his technical expertise in planning with clear, transparent communication and an unwavering commitment to project quality.
George is an experienced Town Planner with a proven track record across public sector and private consultancy roles in Australia and New Zealand. With firsthand experience on both sides of the regulatory landscape, George excels at bridging the gap between developers, Council officers and consultants.
During his time at tertiary education, George cultivated his passion for advocating for positive social outcomes and creating effective urban environments where people live, work and commute. With a holistic view of our relationship with nature, George understands the importance of helping others to build a deeper connection to their environment and sense of identity.

Yasmin Sequeira
Graduate Placemaking Consultant
Yasmin brings a deeply considered, multidisciplinary approach to the Fourfold Studio team.
Driven by a commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive design, she draws on a robust academic foundation that includes a Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations), a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology), and a Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning. This distinct blend of sociology, communications and planning allows Yasmin to view urban environment through a highly human-focused lens. Her commitment to shaping positive societal and educational outcomes is reflected in her ongoing role as a Board Member on the University of Queensland’s (UQ) Bachelor of Arts Advisory Board.
Yasmin approaches social planning and placemaking with a clear objective: ensuring all people feel a genuine sense of belonging in their local public spaces. She brings a thoughtful, people-centred methodology to her work, consistently grounding planning decisions in meaningful community engagement.

Hannah Holmen
Graduate Placemaking Consultant
Hannah is a graduate placemaking consultant with a keen interest in the intersection of policy, community needs, and development outcomes.
Starting her career as a graduate architect with a Master of Architecture from the University of Queensland, Hannah built her technical foundation before bringing her design skills and purpose-led approach to Fourfold Studio.
One of Hannah’s key strengths is her ability to bridge design practice with broader social and policy contexts. Having lived and worked in communities internationally, she brings a deep appreciation for how cities function across different cultural, regulatory, and spatial contexts, an understanding that directly informs her approach to people-centred design. Underpinned by her commitment to purpose-led work, Hannah curates spaces, experiences, and networks that leave a positive legacy, making her a thoughtful and driven addition to any project.
