Brooke Williams
Founder and Director
Fourfold Studio founder Brooke is an expert in facilitating human centred solutions to complex urban issues and economic renewal.
Brooke is a highly sought-after industry thought-leader and innovator in curating vibrant, self-sustaining cities and has the knowledge to make it happen. She aligns the internal systems of clients with the local knowledge of the end users, developing alternative governance models to build sustainable activity.
With over 14 years industry experience, Brooke has been an active champion of the placemaking movement. Her extensive list of achievements includes launching CoDesign Studio’s Queensland office, co-founding UR{BNE} Collective, co-host of Australia’s first Diner en Blanc, and current member of Brisbane City Council’s Independent Design Advisory Panel.

Harriet McKindlay
Associate Director
Harriet is an expert in locally-led placemaking bringing community and stakeholders into the design process to enable greater social impact.
Harriet is an Urban Planner with extensive experience in community and stakeholder engagement delivered both digitally and in-person. She is well known for facilitating high-energy workshops that encourage dynamic collaboration between participants. Her strength in placemaking strategy, includes the development of Place Plans in partnership with the local knowledge holders, comprising the community, stakeholders and decision makers. She excels in project management and best practice delivery. In 2020 she co-founded Placemaking Action Week, a global movement encouraging placemaking action to foster community connection.

Louise Lindgren
Associate Director
Louise is an experienced placemaking and engagement professional with a focus on strategy, place identity and experience design.
Louise is an experienced project manager with over 15 years under her belt, managing place strategies on complex strategic projects both nationally and internationally. Her expertise to shape creative and visually impactful outcomes for clients is embedded in a passion for human-led design and strategic thinking. Always hunting for meaningful ways to connect with stakeholders and communities, Louise specialises in storytelling and experience design - outcomes that are people focussed and inspire great ideas.

Sophie Gwynne
Senior Placemaking Consultant
Sophie is a placemaking and place branding professional with a focus on strategy, place and creativity.
Sophie has a vast experience in writing place brand strategies as well as strategy, narrative and curation for placemaking activations across the UK. She has spent time working with communities to deepen her understanding of how to thoughtfully, meaningfully and empathetically engage with people. Sophie brings her knowledge and experience to help build strong places and communities that are locally-led.
A significant body of Sophie’s work was undertaken at marketing and multidisciplinary agencies, working primarily with public sector clients across design, in any form, with a specialism in place, people and purpose – taking on work across regeneration, and branding for cultural organisations and arts festivals.

David Symington
Placemaking Consultant
David is an innovative planner whose approach to placemaking is deeply rooted in his upbringing in regional Queensland.
Experiencing firsthand how physical spaces shape social interaction and strengthen community connection, he developed a strong drive to understand people’s relationship to place. This passion led him to complete a Bachelor of Urban Development (Honours) in Urban and Regional Planning at the Queensland University of Technology, where his honours research focused on regional economic development and resilience.
At his core, David is committed to building genuine stakeholder relationships, ensuring that all community voices are actively heard and carefully considered. His firsthand understanding of urban and regional dynamics makes him an effective advocate for helping communities thrive through a strong, shared identity. He brings a positive energy to every project, always looking for meaningful ways to connect data with on-the-ground reality.

Yasmin Sequeira
Graduate Placemaking Consultant
Yasmin brings a deeply considered, multidisciplinary approach to the Fourfold Studio team.
Driven by a commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive design, she draws on a robust academic foundation that includes a Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations), a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology), and a Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning.
Yasmin approaches social planning and placemaking with a clear objective: ensuring all people feel a genuine sense of belonging in their local public spaces. She brings a thoughtful, people-centred methodology to her work, consistently grounding planning decisions in meaningful community engagement. Her drive and highly considered perspective make her a strong asset to the projects, places, and communities she supports.

As a fresh face to the world of placemaking, Bridie’s diverse skill-set coupled with a positive, can-do attitude keeps everything at Fourfold HQ running smoothly. With experience in the finance profession, Bridie is well equipt to jump between a wide range of tasks from supporting the team with workshop notes, coordinating internal team meetings, invoicing and supporting our Founder in a PA capacity.
