Dixon Reserve Revitalisation

The Dixon Reserve Revitalisation project represents a collaborative effort to create a vibrant and inclusive space where the community can come together, fostering a sense of belonging and ownership in a rapidly evolving area.

Fourfold Studio, in collaboration with Aspect Studios and the City of Gold Coast Council crafted an engagement program to help design upgrades for Dixon Reserve that met the needs of the community and captured local desires and aspirations.

As part of the engagement process, the project team gathered ideas and feedback from local youth and the community for the future reserve by building connections and running workshop activities with local schools. These ideas were thoughtfully integrated into the design, ensuring the community played an integral role in shaping the reserve’s future.

The design for the revitalisation of Dixon Reserve focuses on protecting, enhancing and celebrating wetlands and native flora while encourage local stewardship of the space. We are excited to se this project come to life.
