A vision and implementation strategy to drive both large and small scale investment in the Innisfail CBD.
The town of Innisfail in North Queensland and its community have experienced economic and environmental challenges over the past 20 years. The town is in need of regeneration. With a growing population and an abundance of world class natural attractions on their doorstep, there is significant opportunity to create an innovative revitalisation strategy through a fresh approach.
Fourfold Studio in partnership with Vee Design supported Council to prioritise projects and develop an aligned vision to attract and guide investment.
Through a highly collaborative process including the creation of community and business working groups, the team have created a tailored master plan that will see the implementation of both long-term major infrastructure change as well as a number of quick win ‘stepping stone’ projects to get the town moving in the right direction.
